The ninth edition of the ICMF will be held from 31 May – 3 June 2018.

We are thrilled to announce the ninth edition of our International Chamber Music Festival in Wassenaar! From Thursday, May 31st our artistic director Irina Simon-Renes will lead us through an interesting artistic program centered around the question ‘Quo Vadis?’ – where are we heading hundred years after the end of World War I? A time to stand still, remember and think about things to come…

Thursday, May 31

‘Music has to be heard!’; – a symposium about musicality. Is it possible to develop and to train your musical ear? Jan de Laat, dr. Evert Rijntjes and dr. Berend Glazenburg will give you a playful answer to this question during an interactive evening full of musical games and quizzes.
